Below is a list of upcoming events. I hope to see you all at our neighborhood Open House on Monday, Dec. 9, from 5:30 – 8:30 pm. Details are below.
Wednesday, Dec. 4, 6 – 8 pm, Neighborhoods Forum with Paul McKee at Vashon High School Auditorium, sponsored by St. Louis Association of Community Organizations (SLACO). Forums are offered for two reasons: (a) so that neighbors can learn about the project from its source, developer Paul McKee, and (b) so that neighborhood folks can ask questions that we hope will lead to better civic outcomes. There will be a presentation after a brief introduction from SLACO, followed by a 30 minute Q&A session. SLACO volunteers will be collecting questions that the audience writes on index cards, and a moderator will be selecting and asking the questions of the speaker.
Friday, Dec. 6, 5 – 8pm, Holiday Happy Hour for a Cause at Grove Furnishings, 3169 Morgan Ford Rd. A portion of gross sales from the event will go to support our friends at the Center for Survivors of Torture and War Trauma. For more info contact The Center 314-533-4114 or email@example.com
