Tree Planting Volunteers are Needed: President of the Board of Alderman Lewis Reed has launched an initiative to plant trees for peace on October 5, 2014. http://www.plant4peacestl.org/ This will serve as a reflection of the events that have recently occurred in Ferguson. One of our very own Dana Gray, Community Outreach Coordinator for Tower Grove CDC, is looking for some good volunteers out there to help with the planting. Dana is particularly interested in planting along Sublette Street. All of the tree along that side of the park are Ash trees. This variety has been plagued by the emerald ash boring beetle. Please contact Dana at 314-776-3472 or go to http://towergrovecdc.org/
