It really takes a village!  I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mary Ann Owens, Barb Anderson and Ron Matejka.  They are helping me to hand deliver save the date postcards through out the neighborhood.  Many hands really do make light work!!  Thanks bunches~
Upcoming Events in the Southwest Garden Neighborhood:
March 12, 2015:  Benefit Assistant Program.  This program is gaining much popularity and is quite helpful to many of our neighbors.  Please call 314-612-5918 to schedule an appointment.  The social worker will be present from 10:00 am to noon.  Walk ins are welcome, but will be served after those who have scheduled an appointment.
March, 2015:  Watch for signs to be posted throughout the neighborhood and check our announcements.  Once the weather turns, we plan to have a spring tree planting in and around Sublette Park.
April 22, 2015:   The Annual Grbrac Heroes Appreciation luncheon.  Once again, we offer lunch to our first responders — police, EMT’s and fireman.  If interested in volunteering your help would be appreciated.  Please call 314-772-6082 or email:  director@southwestgarden.org
Stay healthy, stay warm, stay grateful!
It’s always a pleasure to be of service to my friends and neighbors, I am grateful!
