Upcoming General Membership Meeting ~ Featured Guest Speaker will be an Archivist from the Missouri Botanical Gardens~

On Monday evening, April 27th,the Southwest Garden Neighborhood Association will  host  second quarter general membership meeting.   You are cordially invited to attend.  The meeting will be held at the St. Louis Activity Center 5602 Arsenal Street and will begin at 7:00 p.m.  Once elections of new officers for the Board of Directors is completed, the remainder of the agenda will be devoted to the guest appearance of the Archivist from the Missouri Botanical Gardens, Andrew Colligan.   Andrew will take us on a pictorial stroll through time to see what one of America’s oldest botanical garden was like between 1856 and 1920.  On this trip back in time you will be greeted with ladies with parasols, children in their beautiful 19th century clothing, and even the Garden’s founder, Henry Shaw himself.  henry Shaw
