Calling all Neighbors on the 5300 block of Odell and Arsenal! Your help is graciously needed. An alley clean up day is scheduled for this Saturday, July 11, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Please gather at the corner of Brannon and Odell. Bring your shovels, work gloves, rakes, push broom and wheel barrows if you have them. (Don’t worry Brightside STL is furnishing supplies, as well.) Enjoy hot dogs, chips, soda and water courtesy of Herb @ The Trophy Room. Please remember you can place three large items for bulk pick up at the curb on the 3rd Monday of the Month.
Sublette Park fireworks are scheduled for this coming Saturday, July 11, 2015 starting at dusk. Pack a picnic basket and bring a chair. Enjoy!!
Upcoming dates for the Whitaker Music Festival at Missouri Botanical Gardens is July 8th, Erin Bode Group; July 15th Loot Rock Gang; July 22nd Magnolia Summer and July 29th Tommy Halloran’s Guerilla Swing. Music begin at 7:30 pm
Upcoming dates for Jungle boogie at the St. Louis Zoo are July 10th Galaxy Red; July 17th Griffin & the Gorgoyles; July 24th Pennsylvania Slim and July 31st American Idle. Concerts start at 5:00 pm
The Southwest Garden Neighborhood Association General Membership Meeting is scheduled for Monday, July 27th at 7:00 pm. We will meet at the St. Louis Activity Center 5602 Arsenal Street St. Louis, MO 63139. Please bring a potluck dish to share and if you like bring your own bottle. SWGNA will provide paper supplies, soda and water. The topic scheduled is CYBER FRAUD AND IDENTITY THEFT. This will be presented as a service by Pulaski Bank.
