On Wednesday, September 30th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., SWGNA is pleased to present Diane Sinns of BMO Harris Bank. This is a mini – seminar on SENIOR SCAM ALERTS, which will be held at the office 4950 Southwest Avenue. A light lunch will be provided for this event. If you are nearing retirement age or have already hit those golden years, this event is targeted just for you. Some of the topics that will be covered are: (1.) What to do when an unexpected death or disability occurs; (2.) Preparing financially for a disaster; (3.) Guarding against identity theft; (4.) Elder Financial Abuse; and, (5.) Insurance Coverage and Fraud. Please note that this a free service and there will no charge for this event. No products or services will be for sale. Reservations ARE required for this event. Saturday, October 17th at Sublette Park. A Fall tree planting is currently in the planning stages. We hope to do some mulching around the trees planted last spring. We are currently talking with the Parks Department, because we would like prepare some flower beds for spring and summer bloom. (All flowers will be native to Missouri. ) We will keep you posted as more details unfold.

Last but no means least, The Board of Directors are currently making plans for the 2016 year. We are also taking time to re-examine the strategic plan completed in July, 2013.
