Who are the neighbors who occupy 2828 Brannon Avenue?

They are the workers of Project, Inc., a 56 year old sheltered workshop, the oldest in this region.  Project, Inc. moved into the Southwest Garden Neighborhood in April 2010.  The mission is to provide long-term safe and secure employment to adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a working environment where these individuals experience pride, dignity, and economic independence along with a sense of accomplishment.  Project, Inc. employs 92 individuals, and has a wait list of over 100 waiting to be hired.

Project Inc. cordially invites business partners and residents to take a firsthand look at the mission in action.  What they are doing at 2828 Brannon will warm your heart!   There is no charge for the event, but reservations are required.  Light refreshments will be served.  Please call Kristina Jackson @ 314-772-6082 to place your reservation.
