Hello Neighbors,

Spring has finally arrived and the Southwest Garden Neighborhood Association is housecleaning.  You are invited to join us this coming Saturday, March 25th for our garage sale.  The sale will be from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm and will be located at the neighborhood office 4950 Southwest Avenue.   There will be plenty of office equipment, chairs, a lawn mower, some garden equipment and much, much more!  Everything will be priced to sell~ We would love to see you.  All proceeds benefit the Southwest Garden Neighborhood Association. (Please enter from the rear of the building by the car port.   Parking available on Southwest Avenue.)







Sunday, March 26th:  You are cordially invited to Sandrina’s Restaurant for the Daddy O’ s Memorial Fun Day from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Trish Erwin, owner, promises to have a delightful brunch.  Come and visit, share your stories, eat some food. Non and alcoholic beverages available for all. Fun times for everyone to share their favorite Johnny story and maybe create some new ones!!!!  Brunch buffet begins at 10 am until 3 pm. with the silent auction, etc from 2-5 pm.   Trish hopes to see a bunch of new and old friends!  The monies collected from this event will be used to support a health care and college tuition fund for Johnny’s two sons.  (Sandrina’s is located at 5098 Arsenal Street.)


Wednesday March 29th:  You are cordially invited to attend a from vacancy to vibrancy  neighborhood happy hour from 6:00 to 9:00 pm sponsored by Neighbors for a Stable St. Louis and St. Louis Association of Community Organizations. ( Neighbors for a Stable St Louis is a grassroots campaign in support of Propositon NS – the “vacancy bond issue” to appear on the April 4th ballot.)

The event will be held at Sandrina’s restaurant which is located at 5098 Arsenal Street.

Come learn how Proposition NS will change the face of vacant and abandoned properties in the city of St. Louis.    To learn more about this important proposition visit the web site.  There is some excellent videos about the need for this most important issue.
