News You Might Like to Know About ~

Hello Neighbors,

Happy Spring!  Hopefully the clouds, wet, cold and dampness is behind us and there a brighter days ahead.  April is the month of showers and it is also the month of our second quarter general membership meeting.    The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 23, 2018.  The meeting will begin at 7:00 pm and will be held at the St. Louis Activity Center 5602 Arsenal Street.  Check out all the details for the agenda and our line up of guests on page one of the most recent Communicator.   Just click April

When reading the Communicator take a look at page 3 for upcoming dates.  It’s a great opportunity to mark your calendar, too!  April

We are also planning to hold our third annual seedling and plant exchange!

This is great motivation to thin out those garden beds.  Instead of throwing  the plants in the green waste dumpster wrap your plants and bring them to the general membership meeting.  Your plants bring joy to someone else’s garden and you get to take something home without spending a dime!  Pete Nicolazzi will once again coordinating the effort.  Pete also plans to bring in packets of Missouri native species seeds and some young pine trees!  Check out the Communicator for additional details: April   Oh I almost forgot to mention,

Pete is going to bring seeds that are butterfly friendly!

Just a final note, I am also  working with Rachel GreatHouse and BRIGHTSIDE STL to have available a blue recycling bin for each person in the audience.

In service and gratitude,

Kristina D. Jackson, M.S.W.
