Sunday, February 4th: The annual membership drive party will be held at
5098 Arsenal Street from Noon to 2:30 pm. Trish Erwin, the owner of Sandrina’s is preparing a delightful buffet and you are most cordially invited! All you need to do is fill our your membership form

and pay your dues- $6.00 senior; $10.00 individual; $20.00 family and $25.00 business. This is a great way to kick off your super bowl festivities and visit with neighbors and friends. The membership drive party is in lieu of our first quarter general membership meeting for 2018.
Monday, February 5th: The 8th Ward Candidates Forum will be held Monday, February 5th from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. The Location will be the Rehabilitation Services for the Blind, 3867 Magnolia. This event is co-sponsored by the Shaw Neighborhood Improvement Association; Tower Grove East Neighborhood Association and the Southwest Garden Neighborhood Association.
There is a special election for the 8th Ward Alderman scheduled for Tuesday, February 13. Join us on February 5 for an opportunity to hear from the candidates seeking to represent the 8th ward on the Board of Alderman. Thursday, February 8th: The St. Louis Area Agency on Aging will be once again offering the benefit assistance program for any individuals who need a circuit breaker tax credit completed. This is a free service for seniors and disabled individuals. The location will be the Southwest Garden Neighborhood Association office located at 4950 Southwest Avenue St. Louis, MO 63110. Donna Adams, the social worker, will be available at this site on the 2nd Thursday of the month from February through April. Donna will be available from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.
